Synopsis
In the last boxing match before his retirement, TAN Kai accidentally beats his teammate WANG Yao to death. WANG’s heart is donated to a young girl, LI Chuan.
Guilt-ridden, TAN Kai decides to meet LI Chuan and they slowly develop a friendship. Suddenly LI Chuan’s body is starting to reject WANG’s donated heart and a new surgery is very expensive. To pay for his sins and the surgery, TAN Kai must put his boxing gloves back on one more time.

Liu Fendou is a Chinese Director and screenwriter. In 2005, he wrote and directed the first feature film Green Hat, which was adapted from the novel Rubber Man by Wang Shuo. The film won the Best Narrative Feature and Best New Narrative Director in 2004 Tribeca Film Festival, FIPRESCI Award in Greek Film Festival and the nominee of 2005 Singapore International Film Festival Screen Awards.
In 2008, Liu wrote and directed the film Ocean Flame and was selected in 2008 Cannes Film Festival, 2008 Golden Horse Film Festival and Hong Kong Film Awards.
